Emotions rule the heart and fervently influence the mind. Constantly building desiring a release, grammar is chosen to serve as the unsurpassable apparatus for communication and discharge.
Converted and camouflaged, I construct impetuous textual objects not as correct grammatical units but as aesthetic emotional releases conveying an amalgamated dialogue in attempts to effectuate and roust spectators from their daily routines through site-specific contextual placement, emotional scrutiny and grammar.
These pieces shall maturate into a variety of configurations in time. From sentences tucked into a forgotten building to sentences permanently etched into the skin. The placement of these contextual constructs bares as much importance as the placement of individual words within the written constructs.
Grammar has never agreed with me. All the love I give it and yet it fights back with unrelenting diligence. I adore the written word but my ability to master it has escaped me for so many years. For this battle I wage back with my own written word, my own style of sentence structure and composition.
